Słubice Province: Lubusz (Lubuskie)
County: Słubice (Słubicki)

Before 1945, Słubice was part of Germany and was called Dammvorstadt. It was part of the city Frankfurt an der Oder across the river in Germany, but the river became the dividing line of what was given to Poland from Germany. German residents who had not already fled during the war were deported from the town after WWII.
