I am trying to find out more about my great grand mother
Yetta Goldman born 1893 in Gorlice, Malopolskie, Poland let me know if this is possible.
I was told that the Jewish records of Gorlice are considered lost. The Rabbi took the records with him when he fled from the approaching Germans and walked towards what is today Ukraine. He was never seen again, neither were the books. BTW, my wife’s ancestry has Goldman families from Gorlice.
Hi, I found your question while examining this website. I am writing a book on Jews from Gorlice. May be I will be able to help you. Here is my email: [email protected]
Please write me an email if you wish.
Kind regards monika sznajderman
