Kętrzyn Province: Warmian-Masurian (Warmińsko-Mazurskie)
County: Kętrzyn (Kętrzyński)

Before 1945, Kętrzyn was part of Germany and called Rastenburg. In 1945 it was briefly renamed Rastenbork before being named Kętrzyn in 1946. German residents who had not already fled during the war were deported from the town after WWII.
