Słońsk Province: Lubusz (Lubuskie)
County: Sulecin (Sulęciński)

In 1933 the Nazis built a concentration camp in the then-German town, called Sonnenburg. In 1945 the town was transferred to Poland and the name changed to Słońsk. Any Germans who had not already fled were deported after WWII.
