Wieleń Province: Greater Poland (Wielkopolskie)
County: Czarnków-Trzcianka (Czarnkowsko-Trzcianecki)

In 1919 the German city of Filehne was divided between Poland and Germany. In 1945, the town was fully incorporated into Poland, and renamed Wieleń. German residents who had not already fled during the war were deported from the town.
