Watch my FB Live video explaining how to use the B&F Compendium of Jewish Genealogy

Tonight I broadcast an overview of the B&F Compendium of Jewish Genealogy on Facebook, which you can view below (or on Facebook itself). The B&F Compendium of Jewish Genealogy has over 25,000 Jewish genealogy resources covering over 200 countries. Find out more about it in this video:

Let me know what you think of the video. If you’re interested in me doing other videos, let me know in the comments.

  1. I tried watching your video on Facebook, but it was too choppy explanation-wise. Perhaps you can have someone else do your presentation next time so that it is more “fluid”. I did not find the link that says “Look Inside” as you suggested on your B&F website so that I can see the files you mentioned.

    1. Your comment is on a post about a previous video. In any case, I’m sorry I wasn’t clear, but the Look Inside link is on the JDC site, not on my site. When you go to a file on the JDC site there’s a Look Inside link at the top of the page. For example this file from Opole: http://search.archives.jdc.org/notebook.asp?lang=ENG&dlang=ENG&module=notebook&page=next_list&rsvr=ADMIN@ADMIN&param=%3Cbook_id%3E2636066%3C/%3E%3Cchecktab%3E0%3C/%3E%3Cnum_page%3E1%3C/%3E%3Cnob%3E7%3C/%3E%3Cpitem%3E2636066@%3C/%3E%3Clink_num_page%3Elinksitem%3C/%3E&param2=&site=ideaalm at the top of the page you can find the link. I can add more about this to the post about this collection here: https://bloodandfrogs.com/2019/03/jdc-warsaw-office-locality-files-1939-1941.html but it will be tomorrow before I can add it.
